Andreas Dahl-Jørgensen is the Director of Norway’s International Climate and Forest Initiative (NICFI) and a Deputy Director General in Norway’s Ministry of Climate and Environment. NICFI is Norway’s flagship climate initiative working to stop and reverse tropical deforestation. Andreas has previously been the head of finance for an Indian rural solar energy start-up, worked on climate policy as a consultant, and he started his career with the World Bank. He holds an MA in International Studies from Johns Hopkins University (SAIS), a BSc in International Business from Copenhagen Business School, and has been a Sustainability Science fellow at Harvard University’s Kennedy School.
