Prof. Gusti Hardiansyah is the Head of the West Kalimantan’s REDD+ Task Force. He was an Advisor to the Governor of West Kalimantan until 2021. He is currently a professor on Forest Management at the Tanjungpura University, where he served as Dean of its Forestry Department until 2020.
He obtained a PhD in Natural Resources and Environmental Management from Bogor Agricultural University in 2011, and is involved in various civil society works related to forest management and environment. He has also been instrumental in implementation of West Kalimantan’s REDD+ related policy and programs.
