Elise Christensen is Climate and Forest Advisor from the Norwegian Embassy in Bogota. Elise is now on leave from her post in Oslo at the Ministry of Climate and Environment as Senior Advisor to the Norwegian International Climate and Forest Initiative (NICFI), where she has worked since 2012. Prior to that she has worked with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in Kenya and Mozambique, and with several environmental civil society organizations in Norway. Her role at the Embassy is to follow up on climate and forest cooperation in Colombia and at the regional level.
