Otaviano Olavo Pivetta is Vice Governor of Mato Grosso and was elected in 2018 and re-elected to office in the 2022 elections for the second term in the administration of Governor Mauro Mendes.
Pivetta is an agricultural producer, was three times mayor of the city of Lucas do Rio Verde (MT), taking office for the first time in 1997 and ending in 2016, when he left with a more than 80% approval rating of the population. He was also a state deputy for the state.
