In a significant stride toward advancing global climate action, the Governors’ Climate and Forests Task Force (GCFTF) is delighted to unveil the location for its much-anticipated Technical Exchange Meeting in 2024: Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Hosted by the Government of Santa Cruz, alongside co-organizers Pando and Tarija, this pivotal gathering is poised to be a cornerstone in collective efforts toward forest conservation, climate resilience, and sustainable development. Bolivian provinces, the latest additions to the GCF network, will utilize this opportunity to introduce their impactful work and region to the broader GCF community.

Santa Cruz, renowned for its rich biodiversity and steadfast commitment to environmental stewardship, provides an ideal backdrop for this forward-looking meeting. The local government’s dedication to hosting this event underscores the region’s leadership in championing sustainable practices.
