We are excited to announce a new partnership with Earthworm Foundation, a non-profit organization that is deeply committed to transforming supply chains to deliver social and environmental impact.

On September 22, 2026, during Climate Week NYC, the GCF Task Force and Earthworm Foundation signed a three-year Letter of Intention setting out how they plan to work together in tropical forest regions. The collaboration will begin with at least two regional projects with a focus on three areas:
- Bioeconomy,
- Sustainable commodities, and
- Restoration.
The two organizations will also convene at least one knowledge exchange per year and will engage in joint fundraising so they can continue working with governments, famers, companies, and communities on the ground.
The next steps are to agree on a joint workplan, identify potential project locations and secure the resources needed for implementation. Partnerships are at the heart of what we do, and through this collaboration, Earthworm Foundation and the GCF Task Force aim to help governments, businesses, communities and investors work towards shared solutions that keep forests standing while creating lasting economic opportunities.
