On May 21, 2026, at our 16th Annual Meeting Governor Ruíz Aguilar opened the public session with a surprise letter from our founder, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger of California. Gov. Schwarzenegger congratulated Caquetá and the GCF Task Force for their ongoing leadership role, growth, and demonstration of the importance of subnational action.
