Syahrina serves as the Governors’ Climate and Forests Task Force (GCF Task Force) Country Director for Indonesia. Prior to becoming Country Director, she assisted the Indonesian country coordinator in facilitating the implementation of activities such as the Steering Committee on Sustainable Agriculture Indonesia (SCAI).
She joined Carbon and Environmental Research (CER) Indonesia in 2005, where she works primarily on GHG inventory and development of carbon projects in all IPCC sector. In recent years, her work also includes REDD+, climate policy, and climate finance. She has also been involved in development of National Communication documents for Indonesia and Timor Leste.
Syahrina holds a BSc. in Meteorology from Bogor Agricultural University – Indonesia and an MSc. in Environmental Governance from Freiburg University – Germany. Syahrina also has experience as an intern at the UNFCCC Secretariat in Bonn.
