This is the second technical exchange under the Mechanism for the Exchange of Subnational Public Policies for Sustainable Environmental Management of the Amazon (Mecanismo de Intercambio de Políticas Públicas Subnacionales para la Gestión Ambiental Sostenible de la Amazonía; MIPA). MIPA is implemented by the Governors’ Climate and Forests Task Force (GCF Task Force) and the Amazonia+ Program, and is organized by the governments of Caquetá and Guaviare in Colombia, the provinces of Morona Santiago, Pastaza, Zamora Chinchipe, and Orellana in Ecuador, and the Amazon Regional Association of Peru (Mancomunidad Regional Amazónica del Perú).
